STOP_ GO_WAIT_GO, 2020, digital art, features images of traffic lights collected in 55 cities across Europe, Asia, North America and Oceania. Traffic light signs are deconstructed and objectified. They are portrayed as globally recognisable, banal and playful at the same time. This human-made concept of universal signs is designed to signal danger, make everyone wait and then move on. It is used today as a new warning system to identify levels of risk and morbidity rates in times of the pandemic.
